- Topic: Dr. Koch will present information about what he does as an Optometrist, the role of an Optometrist in the care of diabetes patients, what he looks for during a dilated eye exam (including signs of diabetic retinopathy), why dilation is important and what changes in the eye can explain your diabetes symptoms. He will also introduce OPW’s (Optometric Physicians of Washington) new Diabetes Communication Form and how it will be used by your doctors.
